Regular dental cleanings are an essential part of good oral hygiene. Besides keeping your teeth and gums healthy, a regular dental cleaning allows your dentist to get a look at what’s going on with your teeth so that issues like cavities or gingivitis can be treated early.
Dental veneers are thin covers that adhere to teeth to give teeth a more classically shaped look. Dental veneers are a possible solution to help you achieve the look you desire. They are a popular choice for those with chipped teeth, a gap between teeth, or misshaped teeth.
Endodontics, commonly known as a root canal, is the procedure of removing the nerve from the root to help alleviate pain. When the tooth becomes infected, it is important to seek treatment from a qualified dental professional.
Periodontal disease is a very serious condition of the gums that can lead to tooth loss, infection and shifting of the teeth if left untreated. Our dental care team can help you determine if you are experiencing the effects of periodontal disease.
Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available -- complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
Teeth whitening is a simple process. Whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces, which makes the color less concentrated and your teeth brighter.

We believe that the greatest kindness is acceptance. Whether you’re new, a transplant or “local”, aren’t we all on the same great adventure here in Northern Michigan? We’re a community. Shouldn’t that community be inclusive? A community synonymous with the Golden Rule, “treat others the way you want to be treated”. Having been in practice for over 35 years, we know just how important it is to be inclusive & care for all the people in our community.
Our boat came from Ireland. Our parents came on separate ships after the war to find jobs, get married, raise a family and become part of the American dream in Detroit. They nurtured and educated 7 kids to be successful, professional, and proud Americans. They taught all their children to be tolerant and accepting of all opinions and persuasions in their new country. Most of all, to treat everyone with respect, just like you would want to be treated because no one is better than anyone else. A true immigrant success story. Thanks Mom & Dad!
“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.”
